Rahel Zelenkowits

Tanz mit der Schwester – the name brings together the story of Rahel & Naomi, two sisters from Munich who dance through life together. As children, we danced almost every day in our mother’s dance studio, until we trained together as dance educators at the Iwanson International School of Contemporary Dance and deepened our passion for Contemporary Dance and Jazz Dance. Since 2026, Naomi has created her own place for dance with Tanzstudio Naomi. I, Rahel, continue the individual classes at various locations around the city under the familiar name.

Since earning my diploma as a dance educator in 2016, I have loved teaching people of every age – from children’s dance to Jazz Dance for adults. I use images that invite everyone into movement: a cat purring its way up from the floor, or a foot becoming a colourful paintbrush. Studying sociology and education taught me how differently people learn and perceive the world. I shape my classes so that everyone feels seen and can find their own way into movement. Most of all, what matters is the joy and good spirits we share while dancing together!
