General Terms and Conditions of Rahel Zelenkowits (Tanz mit der Schwester)

1. Registration and Conclusion of Contract

Registration is made in writing, by email, or via the electronic registration form. Your enquiry and registration are initially non-binding for you; with the registration confirmation from Rahel Zelenkowits (Tanz mit der Schwester), we reserve a place for you in the class of your choice. The contract is concluded only upon purchase of the class card on site. For participants who are minors, registration is made by a parent or legal guardian.

The class card is purchased on site. Payment can be made in cash or by bank transfer. You are only entitled to participate in classes after payment of the full invoice amount. The rates listed in the current price list apply. A single trial class is possible by prior arrangement and costs €10. If you subsequently purchase a class card for the same course, the trial class fee is credited towards the price of the card.

2. Class Cards (5-, 8-, and 10-Class Cards)

Participation in classes is based on 5-, 8-, and 10-class cards. Each card is valid exclusively for the course block for which it was purchased. The card's validity period corresponds to the duration of the respective course block; the start and end of the block are stated specifically in the price list and upon registration. Workshops and private lessons are excluded from this and are arranged separately. The card is issued to a named person and is not transferable to others. Sessions not used by the end of the validity period expire; refunds are not possible.

In case of illness (upon presentation of a medical certificate) or other reasonable inability to attend, an appropriate extension of the validity period is possible upon written request.

Individual sessions missed by the participant are not refunded; the extension provision under paragraph 2 remains unaffected.

3. Class Content

The subject of the contract is instruction, exercises, and the rehearsal of artistic dance. Classes take place in blocks with sessions that build on one another. Current class content and dates can be found on the website (www.tanzmitderschwester.de).

4. Class Operations and Dates

Classes take place in premises in Munich, mainly in the Schwabing district. The respective class location is announced on the website and upon registration.

No regular classes are held on public holidays or during the Bavarian winter and summer school holidays; exceptions are possible, and participants will be informed in good time. This is already factored into the rates.

We reserve the right to change the class offering, class times, and instructors in a reasonable manner. If the number of participants is too low, a class may be cancelled; in this case, amounts already paid for sessions that do not take place will be refunded pro rata or, on request, credited towards another class. If we have to cancel an individual session (e.g., due to the instructor's illness), a replacement session will be offered or the session will be refunded or credited pro rata.

5. Liability

Participation in classes is at your own risk. General good health is a prerequisite for participation. In case of specific issues such as physical complaints, previous surgeries, or pregnancy complications, participation should be discussed with a doctor beforehand.

Rahel Zelenkowits (Tanz mit der Schwester) is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, as well as for damages arising from injury to life, body, or health. For ordinary negligence, liability is otherwise limited to the breach of material contractual obligations (cardinal obligations) and capped at the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. These limitations also apply to fault on the part of vicarious agents.

No liability is accepted for the loss of or damage to belongings and valuables brought along, including cloakroom items, unless the loss or damage is due to intent or gross negligence on our part.

6. Duty of Supervision for Minors

The duty of supervision for participants who are minors begins when they are received into the classroom at the start of the class and ends when the class period ends. The journey to and from the class location is the responsibility of the parents or legal guardians.

7. Copyright and Recordings

Any kind of media recording in classes or other events is only permitted with prior approval by Rahel Zelenkowits (Tanz mit der Schwester). Class material may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.

Photos and video recordings made by us (e.g., at performances or for the website) are only made with the prior consent of the participants or, in the case of minors, of their parents or legal guardians. Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

8. Data Protection

Personal data is collected, stored, and processed exclusively within the scope of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act, in particular for the performance and administration of the contractual relationship (registration data, booked classes, payment information). Data is only passed on to third parties where this is necessary for the performance of the contract, where there is a legal obligation, or where you have given your express consent.

9. Severability Clause

If individual provisions of these terms and conditions are invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. In such a case, the parties agree to the valid provision that comes closest in substance to the regulatory intention of the invalid provision.
