Contemporary dance in Munich for adults and teens 16+: flowing movement, floor work, expression, and modern dance technique at Studio Franz in Schwabing.

In our Contemporary Dance classes, we aim to create space for creativity and expression. We teach Modern Dance techniques such as curve — rounding the body — and contract — tensing the body. At the same time, we shape flowing, expansive movements that travel through the body from head to toe. We weave this variety of movement forms into warm-ups, diagonals, and choreographies. Alongside jumps, turns, and stretches, floor work is a central element — dancing on the floor, such as the shoulder stand.
